Yes its possible and something is definantly wrong get it to the vet. Their bladder on average only holds about half a litre, in two days it would have about 3-5 litres and would be in excruciating pain. The vet has to drain this ASAP or the bladder will start to deteriate and cause blood poisoning.
GET TO THE VET
There are many causes (infection, thyroids, stones etc....)

I would certainly get this dog to a vet if you know for a fact that this dog has not urinated...there must be a serious medical condition for this to occur!

Once, my dog refused to go outside for 36 hours because it was raining. I bought him a raincoat.

However, my dog is weird.

For a normal dog, you should probably see a vet immediately. If your dog is drinking water and going outside on his or her usual schedule and still not urinating, there might be a blockage (kidney stone, etc.) which could be deadly for your dog.

Take it to the vet immediately please. Sounds as though it is either really dehydrated or it's kidneys are shutting down.
