Never run from a god. They can sense fear and will be more likely to attack. Instead, stand your ground and say, in a firm voice, "Sit!"
It works for a dog too.

Running away from God is like running away from your own conscience. If you truley want to run away from God then perform all the bad habits and you will lose the love of God.
I Am sure you don't want to do that. So I suggest running from SATAN and not God.

In theory, any "god" would not lose track of a fleeing quarry. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a god, would it? Thus, the best thing to do is to stop, sit down, and get it over with.

left...........theoretically the devil lurks over everyones left shoulder (housewives tale about chucking the salt over your left shoulder into the eye of the devil), so i suppose if you run in the direction of the devil (left) that's the opposite of moving closer to God.

Out into space would be a pretty safe bet. He tends to avoid astronomical or cosmological observation.
