Do the Brits want out of Iraq, or are they split over the subject?

For me, the invasion of Iraq was illegal and we should never have done it.
The majority of Britons were and still are against the "War".
I am very glad that our troops are coming home, and the blood of the ones that have lost their lives is on Blairs hands.

This was planned about a year ago if not sooner. I don't know if they are going back home to Britan or to Afganistan which is short of troops.

For those who don't want to LISTEN to any more "promises" -
However, the Prime Minister said: “If the commanders on the ground want more equipment — armoured vehicles for example, more helicopters — that will be provided. Whatever package they want, we will do.”
To date, .............. go figure it out?

Based on the above "promises"... Unfortunately I only agree with these words the Prime Minister said - "That's all we politicians are good for... photographs," the prime minister repeated a couple of times."
For my money, he can repeat THOSE words as often as he desires.. I BELIEVE HIM !!
