I am sitting here with my mouth hanging open. I can not believe that all of you believe that gay people chose to be gay. Get out of the dark ages. I have a lot of gay friends. They don't chose to be that way. They are just like you. Their sexuality is a part of them. If your god condemns them to hell, I am going to be there with them. They are a lot better company than you would ever be.

I don't think gay people are going to hell.......and don't whip out the Leviticus quote on me because it doesn't change my mind. The bible should not be taken literally, or even close to literally. It's more of a collection of stories that sets up a moral code that it encourages people to follow..........beyond that its just a load of hooey cooked up by some guys in the desert 2000 years ago. Plus the leaders of all the organized churches are a pack of homophobes........oh wait wasn't that a catholic priest molesting a little boy............(cough hypocrites cough)

Statistics show that 1 in 10 people are gay (That probably isn't true, but I'll use your stats anyway), not that God "made them gay". I don't believe that people are made gay. You're right, why would he make them gay? He'd have no reason to do that, and God doesn't contradict himself. Also, I don't believe it states anywhere in the Bible that a homosexual will go to hell. That's like saying smoking cigarretes or being a glutton is an automatic ticket to hell.

God makes 1 out of 10,000 killers and 1 our of 5,000 rapists. Why would God send them to eternal damnation? The answer? Because any sin, even calling your mom a bad name, is enough to get you into hell. Luckily for us there is a way to be saved. Most of us have to much pride though to accept salvation.

"For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it" (Matthew 19:12).

God's point is that you are required (as is every other human) to place God and His word as most important over all--more important than your mere desires.

While there is PLENTY of evidence that homosexuality is an acquired taste, concede that it's genetic. So what? The Holy Spirit is more than able to change that. You need only ask. Ah, but if your pride has you saying something like, "Why would I do that?" well, then, don't blame God for not offering you His love. He did. But you are correct when you say that you don't have to accept it.

God made Adam and Eve; He didn't make Adam and Adam or Eve and Eve. People aren't made gay that is just an a stupid lie to rationalize a lifestyle. Don't blame God for what people choose that is completely foreign to the way they are made.

People always seem to believe their gods hate the same people they do.

He doesn't "make" anyone gay. Being gay is a choice to give into your desires. Like drugs, anger and sex. Sin is sin, it's all the same. I could say I was born to sleep with lots of women, but that's doesn't make it right. Also, God doesn't damn homosexuals, He damns people that don't choose him.

God does not make anyone gay. Nor does God make anyone a child molester. Some people just cannot help themselves.

God does not make people gay. That is a lie straight from hell. People choose to be gay. It is a choice that they make. People are not born with sexual orientation. It is a learned thing. Get your facts straight.
