That depends on the experiences and maturity levels of the couple. Back in the day some couples used to marry at 16. If their minds and hearts are truly there it can work at whatever age that comes at (but most people are nowhere near there in this day and age until they are in their late 20s of 30s, because a great responsibility comes with that commitment). Too often people see divorce as an easy way out, when really it should be taken way more serious than that. Knowing one's self and one's heart goes a long way when you find someone you can evenly yolk with on the same level and can recognize that, though.

When they feel it's ready. It's best when both people have their life goals accomplished or are getting there. By that I mean, college educated etc. Getting married young is tough because people grow and change. Who you are at 20 isnt who you are at 25 or 29. It's easier to make a life committment when you're older because you have "grown" and you know what you want. I say 30's. You've experience life and don't feel you've missed out.

I would say around 25 or older. The longer you wait to get married the better chance it will work out. As you get older you know more of what you want in life so your going to look for that in your significant other. There are always exceptions but overall I would say to wait until you are settled in your life, able to support yourself, and truely know yourself, then you will know if that other person is the right one for you.
