Im 12. I think i have a floater in my eye.
One day when i was walking home from school i saw a little thing that was floating....
It was like a cell or something.. it was just floating.
I didn't know what the heck it was.
I did a little research and found out it was a floater.
Now, i can't seem to see it anymore.

Did it go away?
I can't see it anymore.. its strange..

No, it didn't go away. You just have to have the right condition to see it. The eye does not repair itself.

Floaters are absolutely normal.

The only time you need to be concerned is when you see a LARGE swarm of floaters. I don't know the exact number, so talk to your doctor for more information. It's nothing to be worried about. If you wobble your eyes from side to side, and up and down, you'll probably see more.

One floater must be nice. I always see them. I've got about 5 in my field of vision right now.

P.S. floaters are dead rods and cones from your retina that are discarded from your eye. They are absorbed by your body eventually.

Floaters in the eyes are normal and after a while they do settle on the bottom of the eye and you wont see it anymore. They are pretty strange but they are not dangerous. Take care.

Yes floaters are normal. I used to worry about them, but they are harmless. You can see them best looking at the sky. I asked my opthamologist about them.
