I just installed a system in my oldschool and for about 3 days my system worked fine. But the other day my subs will cut off when I turn my volume up pass 20. I have already busted 4 fuses in my amp and checked my head unit and it seems fine and all my wiring is perfect. I was told it could be my battery, but I dont have trouble with my amp cutting off its just that my subs will not play after a certain volume. I also know its not my battery because I had this car for a while and the battery is only 2 years old. I need help figuring it out. I was also told that my ground may be bad. I checked that but its not that either.

You may have your subs wired such that the ohm load on the amp is lower than specs allow. Amps are rated into...as an example only....a 2ohm load. If your subs are wired for 1 ohm you are asking for more power than the amp can provide and stressing the internal electrical components. It may have played fine for a few days but as the power devices over heat they will tolerate less abuse for a shorter time. If you're unsure...go to a shop and ask for some trouble shooting assistance.

Contact the Jensen customer service department (1-800-645-4994) or a local Jensen installer. I've heard of this problem on another brand and there was a setting issue that was pretty easy to resolve. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact solution and it might not work on your brand but someone from Jensen should be able to help you. Good luck.

If your head unit is still old-school and you just wired in your speaker connections to your low-level input on your amp, you are probably sending too much to your amp.
Regardless, it sounds like a safety mechanism on your amp is triggering it to stop. I would not continue to push it until you figure out what the problem is, or you will almost certainly ruin your amp.

Sound like you have an voltage problem. Check the voltage with a meter while you are running your system and make sure it reads 14.4 volts, if not you need a new battery. Also check all of your power connections, a loose connection will cause fuses to pop.

NEVER put a bigger fuse than the rating.
If all the above fail, try turning the gain to a higher number.
There's a link in the middle of my site to correctly set the gain.
You'll need Microsoft Excel, a multi-meter and a way to burn an audio CD from an MP3.

Try changing the fuse in the amp that you said blew from what ever it's at to double maybe, this is a cheap quick fix so give it a shot. Also since it is only at high volumes maybe you need bigger power cables.
