Besides, if the creationists can find dinosaurs in the bible by redefining words, you should be able to come up with words in the bible that might have referred to the enchanted people.

No more than in U.F.O.'s or ghosts. They are in the same category: apparently real but actually manifestations of trans-dimensional beings dedicated to deceiving us humans into ignoring God and killing each other so they can take over the planet (after doing their dirty work for them.)
"if the awesome power of mind can create everything" . . . sounds nice, but the fact is that no mind can create anything but delusion. Do you really want that?

No, I live in the wilderness, and I've never seen 'em. True, your mind can 'create' anything from imagination, but that doesn't make it actual.

Well, it your choice. If you believe in fairies, gnome and etc. then test to see how it works out. I tested Christianity in my life and it worked out fine. Cheers.
