yes because they think the man is going to realise that they are too good for them an leave the woman and by that time the woman has probably become very attached

Yes, some women would do that, but rarely. I think most men turn down women when they think are too good for them. And I'm being objective on this.

Not all the time i reckon. My gorgeous gf is far too good to be with me.For sure i don't deserve her -she's out of this world. We've been together 15 ecstatic months & i still think i'm dreaming. She loves me, i love her - end of.
I think if a girl turns you down cos you're too good for her, maybe you should go for a different type or try a different approach.Good luck!

Yes totally!!!!! it is unfortunate fact of life - but sometimes if the guy is too nice - the girl does not want to go any further with the guy as he is too good a friend that she is scared if she went with him it could possibly end up ruining the friendship..But the girl usually ends up kicking herself when she picks the bad guy and then realises after she has been mucked about that the good guy was prob the one for her..happened to me sad to say..

yes, sometimes women are too insecure or "scared" to disappoint the best person in their life. If you're that guy, let her feel secure.

Me personally? HELL NO!
If I think a guy is *too good* for me, but he likes me anyway, then I feel really dang lucky that he chose me and I enjoy his company.
Nobody should ever reject anyone for thinking that they are *too good* for them, that is stupid! If they are *too good* for you, then why not go out with them?
Cheers

All the time on a regular basis. I am rejected over and over again and your question highlights the only possible reason.

Yes before I was married a few girls done that to me. I got very upset but understand now that they felt that they would have had to compete with loads of other girls.
