Not as many wars, less hatreds and so on.
We'd probably be smarter after we think with our heads and not with some random stories. Noah's Ark, pfft, c'mon.

Never underestimate the power of people to hate.

If we got rid of religion we would probably have more scientific progress but the wars would continue. In the European theater, WWI and WWII were Christian on Christian wars.

No, because people would still find stupid sh*t to argue about and fight over.
The saying holds true "You can't fix stupid."

Response to the guy below:
"Religion destory's Christ saves. Noah's Ark c'mon? Evidence for a global flood? They've found shark teeth on the top of mountains. "

Waterline reached the tops of mountains due to the shifting landmass that were ongoing from over 100 million years ago. The story Noah's ark was suppose to take place less than 6000 years ago, which is long since after the waters had receeded to current levels.

Yes, that is possible. Religion is only instrumental in trying to get people closer to get. One can be spitirual without being religious. But without spirituality there will still be the cycle of attachment, jealosy, hatred, anger and fear. As long as these elements stay, the planet will never be a 'happier place'.

So you can remove religion, but not spirituality.

Religion or no religion, this planet is a place of miseries. The laws of nature are impossible to conquer, old age, disease, and death, will be always, as wars, pestilence, poverty, earthquake, etc. These matters have nothing to do with religions. May be some wars, but not all.

An equal number of new religions would be created. The number of religions at any time is more or less constant.

No. Delusion causes happiness. Take away religion, and you've gotten rid of a big excuse to lie to yourself.
