Diarrhea can be caused by stress just as easily as it could be by the consumption of something bad (or even something new, like a different food or treat). If the pup only has the runs when he's with you, then it could be either/or. First you need to make sure puppy can't get to the dog's food and don't give any new foods or treats - that will eliminate the possibility that puppy is sick from eating new stuff. Then you need to scour the area to make sure puppy couldn't have ingested something else - this includes dropped table food, medications, cleaning solutions, etc. Then call their vet and ask THEM the proper dosage for Pepto. You can also ask them about adding some plain rice or canned pumpkin to the regular kibble to help sooth the stomach and harden the stool.

Yes you can. Follow the dosing recommendation according to weight. But the best bet is to call the vet. If your pup is vomiting it could be parvo and parvo will kill a puppy in one week.

The acid content in dogs' stomachs is different than that in humans'. Call your vet and have the vet prescribe the appropriate medicine. You can't know what is causing your dog's stomach problems until visiting the vet.

Give him black tee with a very small fingertip salt. Helped my Dachshound and my Wolfhound. Don`t try human medicine.

People medicine can be lethal to pets in the wrong doses. Consult with your vet rather than take the chance. Asking questions is free. :-)
