Caffeine binds to Adenosine receptors which are found at various locations around the body.
1. Increeases temp: Increased heart rate and respiration would cause and increase in core body temp, surface body temp would be lower though (caffeine draws blood away from the skin surface and into deeper tissues).
2. Increases heart rate>> it stimulates the release of adrenaline (or epinephrine if you're American) which does a number of things, one of which is an increse in heart rate...
3. Yes, dose effects are proportional to body size. Although individual responses to the drug vary from person to person, there is a correlation to effects of the dose vs body mass>> children are small therefore the effects would be amplified

Caffeine is known to leech calcium from your bones, and makes your bones brittle. Caffeine can increase your heart rate temporarily, depending on the strength of the coffee/ soda and how much you drink. Adults and children react differently to chemicals. But too much caffeine would not be good for anyone.
