well i am in 8th grade too and you should talk with your friend and ask how she feels about both of you liking the same guy! Me and my Friends made each other a promise (b/c we all like the same guy) that if he were to ask us out we were allowed to say yes! and if we wanted we could ask the guy out we were allowed to and the my friends should not get angry. so talk with you Friend and ask her what she thinks. and if she is totally against you going out with him you have to respect your friends point of view. try to like different people it makes you life easier even though i know it is hard!! :)

im in 6th but im dating a 7th grader.... so this will help u alot!!
well.......u and ur 8th grade (lover) have classes together right?
but the 7th grade friend has different periods than u and the dude? right???? well......... go out with him....... cuz the 7th grader is in a different core than him! so dig the dude!
