No you didn't get an email from Microsoft. You got an email from a scammer trying to con you.

Microsoft don't have a lottery, and the UK lottery don't contact random people to send them money.

Don't reply to this email or someone somewhere will rip you off.

Did you buy a ticket for it? If you didn't, then you didn't win. Plain and simple. Companies don't exist for the purpose of giving away free money to random people on the internet.

This isn't actually from Microsoft. They do not own a gaming/lottery license. They do not run a lottery. This is a scammer that will, at some point in the "prize claiming" process, ask for money, credit information, and/or identity information. Don't fall for it.

Mircosoft doesnot run internet lotteries it is a scam so you didnot win anythingDid you buy a ticket in this lottery I am willing to bet you didnot so how can you win without a ticket.I would say with some confidence that they want some sort of proccesing fee off you to enable them to release your winnings?????? which by the way are $000000 in other words nothing. delete it it's rubbish

Microsoft doesn't do things like that.... but you never know. Once, my parents threw out a free vacation that they got in the mail. It was legit.

Scam.

Let me guess: in order for you to collect your winnings you have to send some kind of money....
