Oral tradition is spoken. Written tradition is written down. Both are equally valid and valuable.

I don't know what you mean by revelation.

Torah is the Law, the Talmud is oral tradition. It was received in totality at Mt. Sinai. All Jews were present -- past, present, and future Jews.
