Tony Blair is to announce on Wednesday that Britain will cut the number of UK troops stationed in Iraq by about 1,600 – the first time the UK’s military presence in the country has been cut since the 2003 invasion.

Bush has staked his whole presidency on being a War President.

He must always be at war.

So the only way he'll pull troops out of Iraq is if he can send them somewhere else, like Iran. Anything else would be tantamount to admitting the invasion was a mistake. Now he gets to blame Iran for his Iraq strategy being a failure - which is crazy - Saudi Arabia is a much bigger supplier of insurgents targeting and killing Americans (Sunnis) than Iran. The Iran-backed Shiite militias are mostly on the side of the U.S.-backed Shiite government, fighting Sunnis. Yes, that's right. Those Iranian-backed fighters are mostly - not all, but mostly - fighting on the same side we are.

And may God have mercy on all of us if he pushes forward with this insane plan.

No, it's Blair who is the poodle lap dog...

Link to our news below.

Also, on the tv news tonight there were hints that Blairs decision could change by tomorrow. Shocker...

I don't have an opinion on whether or not the war in Iraq was wrong or right. I have heard both points of view and am still unable to form an educated decision on it.

What I do have an opinion on is the stubborness of these two men to prove that they were right, no matter what the cost, no matter how many lives lost, and their inability to make a decision as leaders of a country, without seemingly having to consult the other.

President Bush doesn't care what anyone else does, he will not pull out our troops until he can find a way to call it a win, win situation. That is until Iraq can stand on its own. Very doubtful to happen anytime soon. Besides, there is still money to be made by the Industrial complex & military. There is still oil! How could we forget that!

If you want to know the real truth about any of these issues we keep debating in this political forum....all you have to do is follow the money. Who stands to gain the most money and power from any action? Most of the time, if you look deeply enough you will find the Globalist puppet masters, and their bought and owned puppets!!!!! And if any of you think that this doesn't include the Bushes...then you are not thinking at all!!!

It's not that simple. If you look at the previous wars such as Vietnam, more of our soldiers were killed in the the removal, then during the actual war. If you look at the war we had with the Phillipines, we were there for 50 years before leaving. It is going to be a while before this war is over.

No I don't, because Bush will never admit he was wrong about his 'stay the course' plan, even if/when it blows up in his face. He already said he would NOT pull out, even if the only support he had was Laura and the dog. He doesn't want to pull out. He wants to throw MORE troops in there. That's his whole plan of action. Throw more people at 'em. Brilliant.

We wish !!!

If you see it in THIS site - then believe it -
http://www.mod.uk/DefenceInternet/FactSheets/OperationsFactsheets/OperationsInIraqKeyFactsFigures.htm

Tony Bliar(sic) has made "promises" before - 7h Oct 2006 - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/5414974.st... to see EXACT words out of the horses' mouth himself.

For those who don't want to LISTEN to any more "promises" -

However, the Prime Minister said: “If the commanders on the ground want more equipment — armoured vehicles for example, more helicopters — that will be provided. Whatever package they want, we will do.”

To date, .............. go figure it out?

THE ONLY TRUTHFUL STATEMENT to come out of Tony Bliar's (sic) mouth was an historic occassion on 20th Nov 2006

"That's all we politicians are good for... photographs," the prime minister repeated a couple of times. UNQUOTE !!

So, with reference to UK troops being pulled out..
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/6...

Based on the above "promises"... Unfortunately I only agree with these words the Prime Minister said - "That's all we politicians are good for... photographs," the prime minister repeated a couple of times."

For my money, he can repeat THOSE words as often as he desires.. I BELIEVE HIM !!
