First off, any time you experience depression so bad you feel like ending your life you should DEFINITELY see a professional, be it a counselor, a therapist or a physician. Secondly, depression is a large problem amongst people today. The stress of living is higher because of the more complex quality of life compared to older days when you work (or hunt) come home, eat, have sex and sleep. This is a fact that some people with depression have to realize to start getting better. Next, I should mention that after you see a physician he'll push certain drugs on you without a doubt. They love doing it because they just want you in and out. Be very careful accepting these drugs. They're great for some but the side effects are awful (thoughts of suicide, physical muscle pains, etc.). Before accepting prescription drugs, try working out (mildly but frequently) throughout the day. Known medical science show that the hormones released during workouts (testosterone, human growth hormones, endorphins, thyroxine, epinephrine) are more powerful and more psychotropic than that of most prescription drugs. It works for me better than any drug ever could. Next, adjust your sleep schedule. Keeping a no-compromise sleep schedule every day with consistency with 6-8 hours of sleep will also do wonders as this will give your subconscious mind more time to process and store those things that you seem to dwell on during the day. Next, try adjusting your diet. Keeping a very well rounded diet can make you feel (psychologically) so much better. Also, combined with exercise, you'll start to look even better than you already do which in turn makes you feel mentally better. Lastly, and possibly most important in my mind, is keep good company. The wrong friends can destroy your frame throughout the day. Get friends who support you when you're down. Keep upbeat company. We're social creatures and we tend to follow crowds. If you're around others who are in good moods, you'll tend to do be the same way. If all of that will not work, then ask you doctor about MILD prescription treatment. This is not something to enter into lightly as these drugs have many side effects and are very addictive. I hope you get better. Medical conditions are never fun. Good luck.

i slipped into a major depression a few months ago and i was seriously messsed up. i know where u are coming from. i dont know you but if u cant talk to your friends, than you can talk to me. as for the boy you should move on. i was in a seirous relationship then he moved. it took me forever to move on but when you do you feel so much better. to get over him, dont talk about him AT ALL to anyone and after about 2 weeks he will "disappear". hope i could ehlp

Ouch girl!
Well it's importat to know that our identitiy is not made up of who are partner is, or if we do or dont have a boyfriend, but our identity is made up of who we are.
You will truely begin to know who you are, when you find out who it is that brought you into existance...
Your honesty is good, your aproaching a new chapter of your life,,
Remember this quote for the week...
______"Where one door closes, another door opens"_____
New oppertunities will come, in the mean time, find someone to chat with like a friend, family member or whoever.
Maybe even humble yourself to one of your close friends that you abandoned, and ask for forgiveness abd that you miss your friendship with them, tell them you where blind to how much they meant to you, and the boy friend thing clouded your vivsion of the need to maintain strong friendships. whatever they say in response, respect them.
and if all else fails find a new friend.
I can reccomend my frined and introduce you to him if you like...
His name is Jesus, and he has never let me down and never will, he would like to be your friend too if you ask him.
Bless you through this challanging, Character building time,
Phil
