some people's temperature is different. My standard temperature is 96 degrees. However, if the tiredness is sudden and severe it could be something serious. It is possibly something related to hypothyroid or anemia, but those would not be so sudden. I suggest calling your son's doctor and and explaining all of his syptoms asking if he is concerned about it.

Assuming your thermometer is correct, he's got a problem. things that come to mind quickly are: hypothyroid, new onset diabetes, hypothermia, and overwhelming infection-(some bad infections will actually make your temperature go down instead of up). He needs to see a doctor soon and get some blood work done to look for these and other possibilities.

Try a different thermometer first. Not all thermometers are accurate. Then I would follow the Dr.'s advice.

Normal body temperature is 98.6 degrees. If he's tired all the time he may be a little anemic. Get his blood checked to see if he needs iron supplements.

if that temp. continues it could be dangerous. however, you should start talking to a doctor. I don't think its really dangerous at this present time.
