I know this will sound gross, but hear me out. If you have a HUGE dress with a train and bustles and all that, this will work wonders and you don't need anyone to help you. Use a bucket (literally a bucket, like a mopping bucket) and just squat over it with your dress around you. As long as you're not wearing whole pantyhose (wear thigh highs) you should be able to go to the bathroom really easily. Then just pick it up by the handle and pour it in the toilet. I did this on my wedding day and didn't tell anyone (for obvious reasons, it sounds gross) but I was very comfortable the whole night because of it.

Very carefully. Funny how no one thinks of it till you actually have to. I guess it's a blessing that one doesn't eat or drink much during the day. At the reception, when I realized it was time, I walked in the washroom and realized I couldn't do this by myself (really big dress, long train bustled up). Now I have three sisters, and could have asked any of them, or my mom, but my Maid of Honour was handy, so I went in the handicapped stall and she kept the door open and held my dress out front. Yeah, it was embarrassing, but you gotta go sometime!

it depends on the dress - often the bridesmaids or the bride's mother will need to help her.

If you have a few female family members that can help hold your dress, otherwise take it off. Good luck and have a happy marriage!

you will probably need the help of several people to help hold your dress up, but it can be done.

Get a smaller dress if you cant even go to the batroom in it! I never did understand the massive skirt thing...seems to make everything difficult.
