Start with a well-balanced, calorie-restricted diet. Drink plenty of water, and try to exercise at least 30 minutes, 3 times a week.

If you still have cravings, try to incorporate them into your diet in smaller portion sizes, or switch them for healthier versions of what you want (Don't run to McDonald's - make a Turkey Burger at home on a high-fiber, low calorie bun). If you want a snack, grab a piece of fruit. Anticipate your cravings and plan in advance, and your diet will be safe. Oh, and plenty of fiber will help you feel full longer, and you will be less likely to snack or binge.

If you have a craving for sweets have a smaller portion of it. Instead of eating a big piece of cake yourself, share with a friend. Remember that it is better to eat and drink sweets is in moderation rather than depriving yourself and eventually gorging.

have low calorie snacks through out the day i.e. apple, banana, kiwi, baby carrots, sugar snap peas, handful of nuts, lite yogurt.

You can eat whatever you like and still lose weight if you consume less calories than you burn. It's all about portion control and reading nutrition labels.

What you can do is rather than eat full meals 3 times a day, eat small portions(snacks or not full meals) many times a day. Plus, it's actually healthier than eating 3 big meals!

Try a high protein, low carbohydrate diet. Protein will stay with you longer, and will keep you feeling full and satisfied longer than carbohydrates. Good luck to you!
