just forget about the contents of the solution. it's 1000 ml volume and it needs to go in over 12 hours.

1000/12=83.33

so the rate in ml/hr would be 83.33 ml/hr

to convert to drops/hr, it would be 83.33*15 = 1250 drops/hr

to convert to drops/min, it would be 1250/60 = 20.83 drops/min

It would likely be set to 80mL/hour (technically 83mL/hr)
