Yes they do. The body get used to only functioning with the help of the enema after awhile. My grandma was very addicted, because she got to the point where she couldn't have a bowel movement. She had to be hospitalized. The best thing to do for constipation, is not laxatives nor enemas. If you have to go that route then stool softeners and alot of fiber is the healthiest.

We are human..and have addictive tendency...even this can feel
good to certain individuals....nothing like a good flushing
