I have no fear of honesty, wish more people were honest, because then the world would know how people truly felt.
The problem is with honesty too many people take things to literally and out of context, so it makes people fear being honest with them.
My motto is your entitled to your opinion, I can take it or leave it, so honest doesn't bother me. Sometimes it might hurt, but I will be so much better off in the long run for it because then I can analyze what they think is my faults and then I can correct the issue if I think it needs to be corrected.

To me, it would be knowing what I've done over the years. (I'm no saint by any means.) It would be remembering the things I've said and regretted; it would mean letting someone know exactly what I've accomplished and who I've hurt and how I felt afterwards (usually terrible). On the other hand, I also know that being honest saves time and trouble, because lying takes too long and you have to remember EVERYTHING, which I was never too good at to begin with. Still, there are things I hope I will never be asked about.

Here is another adage., "Honesty is the best policy"
Especially with yourself, lie to yourself, and you are in deep trouble.
Telling others the truth, is not always for the best. Do they really need to know, what the truth is, will it hurt them deeply. Will the truth benefit them. Think a lot, before you spill the beans. Even though, you know, what you will tell them, will hurt them, it could be for the best in the long run.
Just give it deep thought, before blurting it out.

That the truth is gonna hurt so bad. Being honest is the best thing you can do but whoever said "truth hurts" sure wasn't lying cuz it does at times.

That my husband would leave me if he knew some of the things that cross my mind when we're arguing. Or that I still think about my ex and I google him occasionally to see if anything new pops up.
