On the first floor shouting out of a window.."Help,help,please help!!""
The firemen in a circle,stretch out a sheet and say.."Jump,we'll catch you."
Paddy tells them "I don't trust youse lot..when I'm half way down you'll whip the sheet away,...I'll take my chances higher up."
He climbs up to the second floor and the same thing happens.
Eventually he reaches the 7th floor and can't go any further.
"Jump!" say the firemen."....we'll catch you."
"No way" says Paddy,do you think us Irish are thick.." when I'm half way down,you'll whip the blanket away....you put that blanket on the floor,......... THEN I'll jump."
