She is not a typical girly girl, she loves, movies, music, especially classical music, she likes reading, the outdoors, and to play sports. I am looking for something in the $20-$50 range, any good ideas?

or the first movie you saw together on DVD and a movie night

Do you know what movies and music she might want? Pick up some CD's and / or DVD's. If she likes music you could probable find a cute pendant with a musical note that would be in your range,

Buy her a classical music cd she likes, like she mentions she wants.
That's basically all you have to do.
Listen to what she says she wants, i'm not saying you don't but things like she'll be in a store and she'll say she wants it keep a mental note and get it for her. It will be both a suprise and sweet, some girls like it when you remember the little things.

well I have ideas for you.. if you know what her favorite book is.. look for it in a special edition.. if its an older book, you can try and find it in the original format... A nice watch... they run run from 20-50 unless you go overboard., you can also hit up the local walmart for a collection of her favorite movies and have your own little movie party... a pair of earings.. (hoops are always in).. Good luck and dont sweat it... she will love anything you give her unless she is shallow...

let me start off by saying awwwww that's just beautiful, but honestly its the thought that counts most girls like a gift that comes from the heart not from the pockets unless their materialistic. I'd say go with what your heart tells you to get even if its writing her a poem and reciting it to her.Or writing her a song and singing it to her.It doesn't always have to be store bought.

I would suggest maybe tickets to a basketball game or maybe one of her favortie sports teams jerseys, or you could buy her movie passes to go to the movies with you

A piece of jewelry, like a chain. If it's decent quality she will have it the rest of her life.
