I went to a party last Saturday and boom, met a really nice guy. He is smart, good-looking, nice, French, kind... We spoke a mixture of French and English for about six hours. We didn't speak that much to other people at all actually. He followed me home in the middle of the night, without trying anything - a real gentleman.
Now to the problem. This guy was just visiting some friends of mine, and these friends are not so close (i.e. they don't know about my private matters). He is living quite far away, in Washington actually. When we stood on my doorstep, he asked if he could ask my friend to give him my email address. I held his hand for a moment and said yes, but that was all...
This guy went home later that same day, so I didn't see him again. Now it's Tuesday and I haven't heard anything yet.
I know it's too soon to ask, but...
What are your two cents??? What do you think I should do about this?

Ask your not too close friend for his address. Explain to them that you had a wonderful evening talking with him & you would like to say hello & keep in touch with him.
I an sure that they will oblige & wish you well.
Alternatively you could phone Bush at the white house & ask him to get the CIA to pull in all the French in Wahington for interogation & ask them to email you their mugshots.
You could then get them to hold him untill you get there.

Wait a bit longer - there could be a reason for the delay|
If nothing happens after a reasonable length of time - huuuh! - its just one of those things - move on and someone else will come along|

If u really like that guy well tell him u want to see him again
and if u really shy, well ask one of ur friends to tell him that u like him and talk to him on the phone or something and thats how u will know if hes intersting in you.

he may still contact you its still early days, if not maybe you should contact the friends of yours that he was visting and see if he has mentioned you or if they have a email address for him, anything is worth one shot.

if he didnt like you then he would of ask if he could have your email ! maybe he forgot to ask his friends for it befre he went home !! ask his friends for his email and you make then first move !!!
