everytime I click on Internet Explorer from my desktop it takes a long time to open up and when it does open I have to wait for the homepage to load 100% before it lets me scroll. It even freezes the browser when I attempt to close it. Could it be Windows Vista or Internet Explorer problems. I have three other computers on the same router and its not the connection because the rest of the Pc's work and load perfectly. Except for the one with Windows Vista. What could it be? Im starting to dislike Windows Vista :(

I believe it is your windows vista and internet explorer 7. windows vista come with the one already. I have the same problems with my windows xp with IE7, it takes a long time for it to check if the website I am going to is genuine or just phishing. do you have IE7 on your other pcs?. you can help by turning phishing off. that's the problem with a new operating system, it is a baby and not all the glitches are out of it. it is better to wait for microsoft to fix them all before taking the plunge into windows vista. you can turn off "automatic website checking by right clicking on the tools and then phishing filter on your toolbar. hope this helps you a little

Remember Windows Vista is so great you need 1 GB of RAM (what a waste) just to run the system. You may want to double check you have at least this. Right click on my computer | properties

You know, Vista is hot and Cold. When its hot, it's hot, when its cold, it's ice. Nice concept by Microsoft but VERY BAD execution. My guess, it's Vista. If you can, go back to your old operating system. do you have your recovery disk? If you tell me what operating system that you were previously using i can help you even more. Unfortunately, it's Vista. let me know your previously running operating system.
