my dog has been very playful and active and now he walks very slow and does not eat or is no longer playful or active could someone please help me figure out what is wrong with him

Do you vaccinate your dog? You might want to take him to the vet because that is how a lot of serious illnesses start out.

There are a number of things that could be wrong with him, so the best and safest thing to do would be to take him to the vet. (when your pet starts acting differently than it usually does, you know something's wrong)

there are so many things that can go wrong with a dog. it's really best to take him to the vet. without seeing the dog and with no history whatsoever, it would be impossible to diagnose him.
