burn songs from dvd to cd?

I need to know how to burn songs on to cd from dvd. Only songs, not the movie.

Ok you need to know a little bit about computers to get this one to work..


-open sound properties of your computer (click the icon in the tray)
-Click options.. then properties
-Click recording and make sure all the boxes are checkmarked!!!
-Hit ok.
-now the top window will say "recording control" make sure the "WAVE OUT MIX" is checked.. and the volume is relatively LOW or it will be LOUD and DISTORTED!

Now..
-open sound recorder
-Play your DVD on your computer.
-Hit record on the sound recorder when the song on the DVD starts playing..
-hit stop when you want it to stop recording..

(remember though that sound recorder only records 60secs.. then you gotta hit record again! WHen it gets close to 60 secs.. just keep clickin on the record button.. even though it does nothing. as soon as it stops, youll hit it again and will continue recording and you cant tell it stopped)

-then save!

if you were talking about an easier way.. or JUSt songs.. you gotta go for the soundtrack.. as in.. the already made CD.. you cant extract songs from DVDs like that..
