Because you are skinny and athletic doesn't mean you can eat any and every thing you want. Watch what you eat because what you eat could be making you have that pouch for a stomach. As far as exercises, do different abdominal exercises to challenge your muscles and tone them. Since you are trying to get rid of your pouch, focus on excercises that work the lower fibers of the rectus abdominis (the anatomical name for your abs) and the obliques (your sides and the muscles that play a part in shaping your waist) Also, try pilates. It focuses on developing core strength and toning the abs. You can even go to a book store and find a book on getting athletic abs since you are an athlete. Any of these will work. Just know what you want and work hard at it, and it you will it in no time at all.

Yes it is normal, but unless you are already in EXTEMELY good shape that is way too much work out on your abs. It's recomended that you only do them every other day to give them a chance to heal. You will notice a bigger difference too. Don't overwork your muscles!

Yes, completely normal, now make sure you have a good diet with high protein content so you make those abs grow.
