Wouldnt it suck to live out the rest of your lives not being able to enjoy the same TV shows and movies? All those late nights sitting on the couch will kinda suck forever. What can one do?

Not really if you didn't know having a gf is a real compromise (only for the guy) like I have to watch the view and Dr.Phil every morning and i would rather shoot myself but hey I love her so whut can u do.

My parents don't like the same TV shows. But they can agree on the news and football!
Just find a show you both can enjoy, even if it's just once a week.

try to take an interest in theres or find a movie you both like and if all else fails don't watch TV

how about having two televisions? this is not a problem, maybe you don't like the same shows but how about a good movie you both like? that's easier
