Yeah, one good day at least. I stayed at my parents how the first day and it was bad. My mom kept giving me pain pills every 4 hours - then I'd fall asleep. I'd wake up crying and she'd drug me up again. The next won't be too bad but you will want to bring something for pain with you. Oh, and don't forget ICE, and you'll need some gauze to change your dressing and........the jello and/or pudding and mashed potatoes. That will be all you can eat. You can't suck on a straw or smoke until it's healed.

Depends on the person, I went back to work the next day after having all 4 removed. My wife had to take a week off. I would plan for at least 3 days.

I would suggest you allow yourself at least three days to heal before going back to work. If your work includes strenuous activity, lots of bending, heavy lifting, or climbing stairs, you may want to take a week off. That will insure that the gums are not going to start bleeding due to the pressure that could be put on them at work.
Warm salt water is what I used to ease the pain and discomfort after having my teeth removed. Just swish it around in your mouth.Be sure you don't swallow it. It promotes healing and cleans the blood off the gums. Hope you recover as well as I did.

The first day, you should have a break off work definitely. Maybe you should go back around the 2-3 day depending on how you feel. I'm only 13, but I got mine out on Jan 26, I was fine on Sunday Jan 28.

It depends on the person. My brother was fine after 3 days, but my cousin in a lot of pain for 3 weeks.
I'd say about a week off of work if you're getting all 4 done, maybe less if one or two are pulled. But it depends on your body's tolerence for pain, and your age. Younger people usually heal faster.
Try talking to your doctor if you're really not sure, I'm sure he or she will be able to give you a window.

You will not need to take off work. The healing time will take a few weeks, but this does not keep you from working. It only changes you diet during that time to soft foods. I had all four taken in one day. I did take the next day off work, but it was not necessary. I ended up doing some work for myself around the house.

There is no universal answer. I've got friends that were back at work and eating solid foods the day after, or my wife, for example, was sore, with a swollen, jaw for a week. I'm 29 years old and i've never had mine pulled so i can't give you a personal experience, but I would try to schedule my appt. on a wednesday. take thu and fri off. if it hurts after that, you still have the weekend to rest.

From my experience I went out that night with friends. My mouth was somewhat swollen but not terrible. I had so much gas that I felt no pain. I was 18 at the time and they say some are worse when you are older. Have heard other stories, but they think it was because the doctor did a bad job. Good Luck.

it all depends on the position of the teeth. i had all 4 pulled at once with no pain or swelling. my sister only had one pulled and her face was swollen and purple for a week. i'd take a week off just in case. if you can go back sooner, i'm sure your boss would like you back sooner.
