We had Ricotta Cheese Ravioli with a White Sauce..
Salad, with toasted Italian Bread,
Chocolate Cake, and coffee
The Ravioli were store bought.
The White Sauce I made quickly and easy.
The Salad was a lovely Leaf Lettuce with Tomatoes and Vinaigrette Dressing.. easy to make.
The Italian Bread was from a Bakery, I oven toasted it and spread some butter and rubbed each slice with a garlic clove.
Chocolate Cake was a frozen dessert from the Dairy..
Dinner was fast and delicious.
White Sauce
1 stick Butter
1/2 flour
4 cups milk
Melt butter in a medium Pan on low heat. Add flour and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.. .Add milk and stir til thickened.
Add salt (about 1 tsp or to taste) and some black pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.
You can add some cheese that you like, almost any kind (up to 2 cups)..
Stir and serve on any kind of pasta or ravioli.
Wine Vinaigrette
Add wine Vinegar about 1/2 cup to 1/4 cup olive oil
Add salt, pepper, dash dry mustard, some Italian herbs,
Mix gently and toss on salad.

It's not quite dinner time yet, but I'll be having leftovers - sela basmati rice (it's like a brown basmati, with a lower GI than white basmati), potato & spinach curry (nice, even if I say so myself) and dhal (based around toor dhal, with tomato, potato, onion, drumsticks - no, the moringa fruit 'drumsticks', not the chicken-leg 'drumsticks' you were thinking of - I'm a vegan after all). All home-cooked. Alone, though I did have an old friend for dinner last night (but no chianti or fava beans LOL). I'll probably have a glass of sloe vodka with that, or maybe an extra-dry beer.

We had a chicken & veggie stir fry on rice vermicelli.
It was good and it only took about 20 minutes to prepare.
