what do you think he meant by it?

Don't freak out. If a man real want to tell you that he loves you it will be clear. A general rule for dealing with men is if we say something that can be taken more than one way. We mean the way that will keep us out of trouble.

Hmm... Myspace is tricky, the way I asked out my girlfriend or told her I loved her *which I did* I did it relatively in the same way as you described... It depends on how long you both have been friends and if you notice him acting a bit odd around you. If he does act odd around you and he hasn't done it before then he's either keeping a secret or well likes you. But really don't take action upon my word, as I said myspace is tricky...

maybe he really does like you. He could have been embrassed by the fact that he told you so he tried to make a joke out of it to try and lighten things up. If I were you double check with him and ask if he was being serious. It might show whether he was being real or just joking around.Good luck and be wise!
