Since i have just learnd here that great danes r not prone to agressive behaviour, i might just get one. What should i name it?

I would wait until you actually get a Great Dane before looking for a name, as then you could find a name that suits the dog more. But I would do a little more research on the breed before getting one just because they're not prone to aggressiveness. Are you aware how much work you'll have to put into the dog? Do you know how much grooming is involved? Do you know the major health problems and how to prevent them? (Like bloat.)
Buy a few books on the breed before you get a dog.

I had a few. The girl was named Tina and the boy was named Charlie. Goobie is a good name too. Great Danes are awesome dogs, but be careful, they can get really protective. I sold Charlie to a couple after he was born, and they returned him because he wouldn't let the husband get close to the wife. He was very protective of her. I really loved my Great Danes. The next dog I get will be a Great Dane. Hope this helps!

My best friend has a great dane named gage, and my other friend has two a girl named Abbie and a boy named Bruno. They are all soo sweet and soo calm.
