I met this girl in a bar, and we seemed to hit things off well. She gave me her number and told me to call her sometime.
Normally, I wait three days, give a call, and if i get a voicemail, I just leave it at that.
What's the right way to handel this situation?
Does a second call a day later sound desperate, or interested?

I have talked to some of my female friends about this myself. Three days is a good amount of time, I would say between 3-5. If you get a voicemail you could always try again in about 2-3 days. If you still can't get ahold of her just leave an open voicemail saying hey, it's me, you want to (insert activity here) this Friday? Call me back. Don't call her again unless she contacts you.

2 days is the right amount of time in this situation, it means that you have not forgot about her or put her off, but you are genuinely interested on getting together again. Anymore than three days means you are just trying to play hard to get and she will realize it. Make time to call her, and see if you still have the chemistry that you shared on your first occasion. She gave you her number for you to call her. She is interested.

No it doesn't sound desperate. Just make the call again and if you get her voicemail leave a message and wait for her 2 call u back and if she don't respond forget about it.

Don't call the very next day...the day after that is perfect timing. This shows interest and not desperation.
If you get voice mail, leave a nice message with your number and you can call back, but only once...if she doesn't return your call, and you miss her twice...then it may be time to move on.

I'd say wait 2 days and try one more time. If no response, she's not interested.
Of course make sure you're speaking clearly so she knows who's calling and what your number is.

I say if your interested go for it ... some men regret not calling a women back cuz u never know she could of been the girl of your dreams .. good luck

No i don't think it sounds desperate...I think it does sounds intrested...and usually girls like that. If she gave you her number she is obviously intrested in you...I don't see anything wrong with calling her a day later...

She wants you to call or she wouldn't have given you the number....do it.
