Im looking for a gift for her .... not the baby

This may sound childish, but make her a cupon book, with stuff like " 3 hours of quite mommy time" (you watch the kids while she does whatever, even if its in another room) or " Night off from cooking" anything that you can do that will make it easy on her. when I had my youngest my best friend made me one and not only was it cute cause he made it himself, but it proofed to be very helpful. Its nice to take a shower without having to jump out right as you have shampoo in your hair and soap all over your body because you thought the kids were sleeping but you hear a scream etc.

my friends always give a diaper shower for all but the first baby. We get all sizes.

If this is her second baby, she might have most of the stuff she already needs, I'd go with diapers, lots of them.
