Actually, no. So I'm no longer sure I fit in with the rest of the US business world anymore. Everyone seems like they worship the almighty dollar these days. Empathy for others seems to largely a thing of the past. If people are rich, they don't much care about others, and if you're not rich, people are trying to get rich. And I've seen the rich(in an investment advisory capacity) and they're not very happy either-and the rich don't generally "feel" rich. If they have a $50,000 vehicle, they think they need a $100,000 vehicle. If they make $800,000 a year, they try to make $1,000,000-like hamsters on a wheel. And forget the poor.

Yes, I have a great job, great friends, great family and a great job. I have the greatest god and that is Jesus. I need nothing else. Just be happy with what I have got. But I think alot of my boyfriend and not myself. Hahahaha

Thinking about self is satisfactory than thinking of others and what is happening around us. You do not have a problem if you only think about yourself. Problems only come if you consider your family, co-employees, compatriots and humankind in a larger scale.

You can't spend all your time thinking of others and neglecting yourself.
Cuz then you're a dumb-a$$.
I'm happy thinking of whatever I feel like thinking of whenever its the appropriate situation for those thoughts.

It is impossible to be truly happy and think only of oneself. True happiness comes from when we get out eyes off of ourselves and contribute to those around us. It is then that our lives become meaningful.

It's a universal law that when one is hurt we are all hurt and when one is helped we are all helped. I really believe that. I do spend too much time thinking about myself so even the best intentions don't always translate in helping others

I would like to have any time, at all, to think of myself--rather than about all the ways in which my now adult children are messing up their lives. I'm so tired of worrying every time the phone rings.
