nude in my back yard, having a cigarette? I mean, it was such a warm day, and I almost never see her in her backyard, so I figured I would just enjoy the sun for a while as I smoked.
I don't think she thought much of it - I noticed her looking at me when I heard her dog running about her yard....

No big deal, hey it's your yard and if she is (for some silly reason) offended by a human body she can always stop looking! If it happens again invite her over for a cold beer, and don't change a thing you're doing.

I think it's ok. But remember, though you were still inside your territory (your backyard being part of your house) you still have to remember to be decent at all times. Decency is not situational and circumstantial. But anyways next time go outside topless, it's less scandalous should someone see you.

Next time you notice her watching turn towards her smile and wave. If she hasn't called the cops on you, maybe it's because she's enjoying the show, and wants to see more.

It is your backyard, be naked all you want, if she doesnt like it she doesnt have to watch. You should be careful with those cigarrette ashes however.
This could actually be a good indicator if you are healthy or not, if you are a fat disgusting slob chances are she looked away, which tells you you need to get in shape, if you are in shape however, maybe she watched, which means bravo you are taking careof your body. Except for killing it with cigarrettes
