Don't they realize that while they are celebrating, for example, a good business deal, some child living in a 3rd world country that works as a laborer for that company is working 18 hours/ day to keep food on their table?

Say in sports, the winning team always contributes the victory to God, but what about the losing team? You never hear, "God made us lose the game" or "God made me fumble..."

What if the same guy who thanks God for sparing his trailer from the tornado is standing next to the guy that lost his?

People claim that god saved them from cancer, that god blessed them with a beautiful child, that god let them pass math class, and that god made them rich.

But they never question why the doctor that saved them from cancer had to die from chemical overexposure, why people are born with deformities, why there are countries with increasing suicide rates, or why hundreds of children starve to death every day....

It is no one's job to credit God with either. Things happen because they happen and yes, there are influencing factors. But for the most part, there is a mundane chain of cause and effect that governs the experiences that make up our lives. Our lives are connected in some way or another, and we have no way of knowing the purpose each of us will serve on Earth. Im sure the guy who's trailer was spared will hear the guy next to him thanking God that he is alive. Blaming God is an easy way to escape pain and resist learning a lesson or admiting mistakes.

God is our creator He gives and takes away, everyone has to die at some point, All things of the earth has to come to an end. God takes care of all His people, I know from experience losing loved ones and seeing people go through a lot of pain and strife, and we all still choose to glorify God, the amazing thing is the ones we have lost we will see in Heaven.

i've got faith that God shall we undesirable issues take place to me to help in making me a much better extra faith filled guy or woman, i do no longer think of i could be a real believer if I in simple terms enjoyed God whilst issues went properly. Kinda like asking, what can God do for me. I incredibly have had a lot of undesirable reports i assume i ought to ask a similar question why do atheists say each thing is God's fault whilst issues flow undesirable. i assume absolutely everyone desires a scapegoat

I dont't totally agree with you. As a christian, I know that God is not oly credited with the good but with the bad too. Christian beleive that God does everything for a reason and that you have to struggle to be strong. So if your sister dies from cancer or you lose a game, it's because God wanted it that way.

You're mistaken. Job 2:10..."Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Christians are commanded to praise God in all circumstances...and we do (though not all of us). In a sinful world, deformaties, cancer, starving children are consequences in a sinful world (and some of my family dying from cancer) are a part of evil in the world...yet all of that evil is contained and none of it leads to ultimate chaos because we believe God is good. Perhaps you see that as foolish. That's fully Biblical as well!

May God be true and every man a liar.

I'm a christian and i don't thank God for everything, i curse and swear at Him just as if he were my friend, but what people in general don't realize is that God is a friend that you can all ways have faith in, and He'll always be there for anyone. but when you make a mistake like fail a math test, whose fault is that? He also gave us free will, and somethings are our fault, but we like to blame it on other people. and as for the dieing part God knows that, and why he lets it happen i guess we'll never really know, but i don't always think of God in a positive way all the time

The scriptures tell us to give thanks to God in ALL things.

The good you can take pleasure in, and the bad was allowed to shape you into what God wants you to become.

If we have no trials in our life, we not only do not grow, but we will become complacent and accept the good life without glorying in it.

Look what happened to Job and he never cursed God, even when his wife encouraged him to curse God and let God take his life.

Paul said in Philippians 4:11-13;
11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:
12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound, Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

In my life:
I lost a son to drugs and then to suicide.
I had a grand-daughter that was raped by her step-father.
I had another grand-daughter that got involved in drugs and married a guy that did not believe in God.
After 46 years of marriage, I lost my wife.

In all this I never cursed God and let Him use these things to make me better.

God has given me compassion for others, and the words to preach and teach His message.

I have never enjoyed life more.
Oh, He gave me a wonderful wife, and she loves the Lord with all her heart.

I wonder if the Atheists that calls us delusional Christians does it for the same reason that we tell him to accept Christ. We do it out of compassion. Does he do it out of compassion as well?
Is that why he calls our God a freaking God, and encourages us to Get a clue?

I thank God for the good as well as the bad. Doctors did nt cure me from ovarian cancer, they gave me 3 months to live, God cured me 15 years ago, not a doctor or science, but God

If you are so worry about this problems, why don't you do something about it. I am working in a third world country with kids who live in a dirt poor house, and guess what? they thank God because they had food TODAY.
Do something about the problems, and stop blaming God, because he told us to help. Start helping if you are so worry about it.
