Hi. There are many scholarships available for blind and visually impaired and disabled students. Please read through the list below (sorry so long), and I've also included links to help. I teach at a university, and have taught blind students and students with severe physical disabilities...I am amazed at their drive and stamina. In addition to the scholarships below, many colleges have scholarships that are available to blind students on their campuses. If you know which universities you may attend, call their financial aid departments and their Offices of Disability Services, and ask...they will be glad to help you. In addition to financial aid, you can receive assistance with note-taking and equipment that will help you succeed in your college endeavor. The list below is just of scholarships for blind or visually impaired students. I've included links for more general scholarships for students with disabilities...again, the BEST THING you can do is check with the colleges that you might attend, and ask them what kind of assistance (financial and otherwise) is available for students with disabilities.
Best wishes!
