People using multiple accounts, giving outrageous opinions they can't possibly think, telling outright lies about the world and their personal experiences, using the the other gender's avatar, etc.
All of this is confusing to me. What am I supposed to do ? Take everything at face value ? Please help me deal with the intrigue here on YA.

Ignore the personalities and focus on the questions. This is a Q&A forum on religion and spirituality. It is not a chat network for the religious, spiritual, or non-believers. Persons ask questions, persons supply answers. Ideally, the questions and answers are genuine attempts at learning something and providing knowledge, respectively.

Any behaviors outside of this should be ignored or, if the behavior is outside the published community guidelines (see below), reported.

I'm new as well, what a great start. Now knowing people are using all different user names? How can you tell? I'm answering a question with a question. I've been all over the place on Yahoo answers and enjoy the articulate answers to the questions I've posted. I love a good debate on all subjects. Political, religion, entertainment. I don't like a fake, outrageous, liar. Answering or asking under different user names. Please don't take anything at face value unless you feel it's sincere. What a great question you've posted and I'm going to learn something at the same time. You sound smart enough to know the difference. Ignore the ignorance and take in the sincere. Good luck and thanks for the question!!

They are like vultures waiting for any fault you might show. Just be patient and do not show any anger (I feel like I am talking about facing grizzly bears or something). Most of it is for show because they have the bully pack mentality. When you get really frustrated take a couple of days off.

Sounds just like life. Except for the gender part. Maybe.

Take it at face value unless your spidey sense goes off and you think something seems odd...

Usually the outright liars are easily spotted, and those who are posting outrageous opinions are too. I pay attention to my first instincts and hope for the best....

Just remember to take it all lightly. Everyone has an opinion and some people are just real jerks.

How do we know that you're for real?

Who cares if they're real or not, just enjoy the fun of R&S.
