as for the others, enjoy your self-diluded fear. It's just a shame there will be no one there when you die to say, ha! told you so.bummer.
just a reminder, you don't have to be a sheep to be a good person. It is ok to think for yourself.

Because people who communicate with the spirit realm do not see them selves as being ill.

If the went to the wrong doctor they would probably end up medicated.

Because people have needed to believe in a higher power from the beginning of time. We need Hope in a world of despair-a world that has to much hate. We need hope. Without hope we are a desperate people. It's no different than meditation-should we be put in an institution for meditating. Prayer is something like that. I need it . Put me away then. I want to believe there is something bigger than me, and that there is a world out there better than this one. If I'm wrong what have I lost. I've tried to be a good person and do what the Bible says- nothing lost- If there is a God then I'm bound for a Better Place.

Because the majority of the worlds instituions are religious, and in that sense the inmates are running the asylum. Also autocrats encourage belief in gods because it trains the people to submit to authority and lessons the likelihood of revolution. If the peasants believe they will have milk and honey in the next life, they will be more likely to suffer the burdens of poverty in this one

It's true that there are mental illnesses, but prayer isn't part of that. Prayer can and does heal. Not all prayers are answered in tangible ways, and not all prayers get a yes!
When handled properly you can expect an answer, but not necessarily in your lifetime.

And obsession over a celebrity is considered unhealthy (which it is) while total fanatics over Jesus are brushed off as being fine... I do believe however they have just as much ability to be too obsessed like anyone else over any other figure...
