Go to add remove> show updates

find the media 11 update and delete it. No, you will still retain your library.

Go to start, control panel, add and remove programs, and remove WMP 11. Then go install 10. You will probably need to restart after uninstallation and reinstallation. You should not lose your library. After you have installed 10, add all your music files.

Go to control panel and go to remove programes. Remove WMP 11 and it will roll back to the previous version. your library should still be intact.
