Given the fact that we learn far more from the times we scrape our knees then when things go our way isn't Heaven just eternal stagnation?

If Heaven is all about feeding God's narcisstic ego and not about personal growth. That personal growth stops what then is the point of even wanting to be there?
I've had Girl friends that were so insecure that they needed validation all the time. THEY DROVE ME NUTS! I can't imagfine a God that is worse then they were!
I'D WANT TO SLAP HIM WITHIN FIVE MINUTES OF IT!!

That's hilarious...

I think some people would go just to keep from learning anything... it would sound ideal to some...

Imagine ignorance is the reward for ignorance... and knowledge is only bestowed upon those who ask...
That would make the afterlife like a petting zoo for smart people to come and point at the people in the heaven cage.

I couldn't imagine God being too happy with the arrangement either... based on your theory that we are like idol-worshipping girlfriends...

In Revelations the holy city of New Jerusalem descends onto the earth. God makes his home on earth. (Revelations Chapter 21). There is a new heaven and a new earth. Sin and death are gone. There is no more evil.

The City of New Jersualem is like 1,400 miles high and it sits on the earth reaching into space like a futuristic space station, that only now scientists are starting to dream about. Beyond the central earth lies space with all of its adventure, galaxies with new worlds to explore.

So I ask you, what possibly could people with eternal life, do in an infinite universe? Why does our spirit stir even today, when we look at the stars - our destiny? We will praise God throughout the universe!

Your good judgment is quite sparkling. The theory of heaven as an airy place is senseless, no longer in case you incredibly think of approximately it. yet absolutely everyone's thoughts approximately it fairly is existence are diverse - as unique as each and each individual. i in my opinion can't fathom some thing that may no longer explainable by potential of technological know-how. yet i will see the way you will possibly by some potential "purchase" into the theory of heaven whilst you're indoctrinated from beginning. To me, it fairly is totally like be residing in Santa Clause. in simple terms for some atypical reason maximum folk do no longer seem to outgrow their innocence and naivety relating to the completed theory.

Where did you get this slanted view of Heaven? Heaven is simply that, heaven. NOthing more, nothing less. There is no struggle and no questions...no up, no down. Completion.

does one who is mature in any aspect need growth in that aspect? Heaven is rest, not stagnation. If you don't NEED to grow, and all knowledge is readily available, what more do you need to experience?

We were created to love him. He wanted us to be with him. We chose differently. If you get to heaven you'll be so awed by him you won't be able to think of anything else but adoring him.

It's your soul that will be there...not you...not your personality.

It's a shame you ruin a good question with unneccessary emotive language. You'll only get abuse in return for your abuse now.
