If you pay a suite price, is it like a hotel price? the price is for the suite or the person?

Per person based on double occupancy. If you have more than two people, the price is a lot less for the 3rd and 4th person. The basic answer to your question is priced per person, not the suite as a whole and that price is double what you see as the price listed since you pay for two even if you're by yourself (some cruise lines discount a little off the "double occupancy" price for a single but not much.

Suites on cruise ships are priced per person. Having used suites in the past, I can tell you they are very roomy and well worth the money, especially if you can get a discounted rate. We take four cruises a year, so unless I can get a really good suite price, I usually get a balcony room so I can have a little extra room. Some suites come with a personal butler, which will cost you more for tips. It all depends on what you are looking for.

All cruise prices are per person and are normally based on double occupancy. There is a discount for 3rd & 4th persons sharing a cabin and the number of people that can be accomodated in a cabin depends on it's configuration. There is normally a 'single supplement' for a single person in a cabin.

So if you were thinking of getting a suite and seeing how many people you could cram into it.. it's a no go :) However suites are often suitable for a family and will certainly be more comfortable than a quad occupancy cabin :)

Cruise prices are normally per person and usually double occupancy prices.
That's unlike a hotel where you pay for the room.

Prices are usually per person. Also watch out for all the extra fees and taxes -- per person.

Also most drinks will cost extra (thats how they make most of their profits).
