It really depends on the quality of the chicken, how long before it was frozen the first time, etc. Chances are your chicken is fine but use your senses to determine freshness. Does it have any odor? Is the skin slimy? Is it discolored in any way? Use your best judgment and be sure to cook the chicken thoroughly.

ideally, every 3 months you should replace your toothbrush; but when you are sick, when you get better, you should replace it, because the bacteria or virus can stay on the brush head and re-infect you.

I was always told 3 months or everytime you get sick. If that seems too often then try boilng it to get rid of some of the germs.
