Most of the work at home stuff are just scams and take money from the people who need it most. Take the assembly of parts, you pay for the material up front, and it ends up that no one buys your completed assemblies. Stuffing envelopes, same thing, you have to pay out money up front and you get nothing in reture.
Since you are in college you might qualify for substitute teaching. You can name your own days and refuse work when you can't work. Pay isn't bad either. You could trade babysitting with other college students doing the same thing. We did it and it really helped without sacraficing anything. It put food on the table and heat in the furnace. What more could you ask.

Sell stuff you don't want on ebay like books from school, kids clothing and other stuff around the house. It's very easy and will make you a little extra income without worrying if it's legit or not. Plus it doesn't cost that much. You end up making way more then you have to pay on listing an item.

You might want to check the local DHHR they also have daycare programs where they pay you to stay home and babysit. I don't know a lot about it but a friend of mine used to make like $1500 a month and also received a food check for $300 or $400 each month. So if you can tolerate kids have the room and the nerve pills LOL! You might want to check into it.

I just started working for the West Corporation and you do not pay anything up front. Go to www.workathomeagent.com and look into it. You just have to go through some training, which takes a few days, but is all done over the internet. You work as much as you want to and the pay is not bad.

Have you ever thought of selling Avon? It's a great company, very low start-up, but you won't make a LOT of money just starting out, you need to build your customer base, etc. Some people do make very good money, but that usually comes with advanced selling and building a downline. Anyways, it's just a suggestion! Good luck!
