Your mom probably has good reasons for it. Just go and have fun with lots of girls in a group activity. You don't need to date to have a good time. There will be lots of time to date seriously right now probably is not that time.

If you're 16+ look on the bright side, only 2 more years till graduation day! =P

You don't say how old you are. My kids cannot date until they are 16. Your mom probably wants to make sure you are mature enough to make correct decisions. Deal with it, she's your mom and respect her.
