If his only symptom is that he's vomiting - then just let him get it out of his system. You can try to feed him some boiled chicken and white rice (no seasonings) once he's stopped vomiting to help settle his stomach.

If he has ANY other symptoms - lethargy, shaking, difficulty breathing, difficulty walking/standing, blood in the vomit, blood in the urine/stool, secretiveness, etc, then call your vet ASAP and ask them what you should do. If he is still vomiting tomorrow morning and just doesn't seem to be bouncing back, call your vet.

And please, supervise puppy better or pick up the flower pot. I know, it happens so quickly, but make the house and yard childproof.

Good luck to both of you. : )

let him throw all the dirt up. give him some of his puppy food after he gets hungry again and see if he eats without throwing up. it might not be the dirt. take him to the vet if it doesnt stop. i hope ur puppy feels better soon.

let him throw it up, take him outside and let him eat grass.... Don't give him the grass but let him take it.... grass will make him throw up some more and hopefully get out everything. If he is still throwing up tomorrow take him to the vet or call the vet and see if there is anything toxic in the dirt

Do not give him anything. If the color of the throw up is strange, if he stops eating or drinking, or if he throws up more than a couple times you should take him to the vet. It could be something serious.

I believe you are the same person asking about Valley Fever and dogs. Your dog needs to be seen by a vet asap. http://www.dlrrphoenix.org/vf.html
